*In addition to registering through this form, you are required to bring your court paperwork to our Volunteer Center Lobby with the required documentation below.
Document(s) from Bexar County Adult Probation, US Federal, or Bexar County Juvenile referrals must include the following information:
1. Name of Applicant
2. Type of Offense **CASE NUMBERS ONLY ARE NOT ENOUGH INFORMATION**
3. Amount of Hours to be Completed
4. A photo ID

Failure to abide by the guidelines listed can jeapoardize your particpation in our Court Appointed Program.
You must bring your official log sheet with you every time you come in. If lost, we cannot replace in.
Court appointed volunteers can ONLY be registered by our Volunteer Services staff. Self registration is prohibited.
All volunteers are required to check in and check out with volunteer shift lead AND sign in/out at the volunteer lobby.
Please be on time. If you arrive 20min past your shift start time you will be asked to reschedule.
The SA Food Bank is a professional working environment. If offensive language/behavior is witnessed by a volunteer they will be asked not to return.
Court appointed hours can ONLY be completed at the main SA Food Bank facility or the New Braunfels Food Bank
Court appointed hours CANNOT be completed at our Haven for Hope Kitchen. No exceptions.
For safety purposes, cell phone use is not permitted once you enter the warehouse work area.
No smoking, drugs or alcohol are allowed anywhere on SA Food Bank property.
Dress code: closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Please dress appropriately; anyone wearing revealing attire will be asked to reschedule.

Volunteer Worker Agreement
As a volunteer worker on the premises of the San Antonio Food Bank (SAFB) and assisting the SAFB sort its food products or perform other volunteer services, I understand that I am not eligible for benefits under workers compensation insurance in the event of bodily injury to myself. I understand that as a SAFB volunteer I will not be paid or compensated for my services. I have entered the premises of the SAFB of my own free will. I will assume responsibility and will hold harmless the SAFB for any injury that I might sustain while on said premises. It is also my understanding that the SAFB agrees to hold me harmless for any accidental bodily injury or property damage done by me while on said premises. The SAFB has my permission to use my picture working for the SAFB for any SAFB promotions. By signing in below, I understand that the information is voluntarily supplied and may be used and disclosed for SAFB purposes.
